| Our first thank you is to everyone in Portobello Road and Westbourne Grove for welcoming us so warmly into our new home there! We are so happy to be part of such a wonderful community, and we are looking forward to meeting even more of the locals.  Thank you to our lovely customers, old and new, our friends in the neighbouring shops (old and new) and to Manuel, Vanessa and their teams for bringing the Sally Clarke Kensington spirit to W11!  As we move rather swiftly, into colder autumnal months, we are planning to add hot soups, pies and pasties to our range, plus a few seats outside for the hardy …(overhead heaters supplied!) |

| A brand new venture for us, but one that seems more and more important during these uncertain times. Thank you to all those who have placed an order or browsed our online selection – and thank you for your kind and generous feedback – it has all been most helpful.  Now, believe it or not we are looking ahead to Thanksgiving and Christmas… We have spoken to our supplier of bronze-legged turkeys and all is on track! The Christmas puddings are made and are now marinating in their subtle spices and dash of brandy; the Christmas Cakes will be marzipan-ed and iced soon, and a new batch of our fabulous vin d’orange is in the ‘macerating’ stage and it won’t be long before it is bottled and labelled ready for our shelves.  This year everything will be online for you to order simply at the ‘click of a mouse’. You will be offered the choice of either collection from our shop in Kensington or, delivery to your door courtesy of our eco-friendly bikes. |

|  Finally, as always, a big thank you to everyone for so carefully following our hand sanitising, temperature checking and mask-wearing policies within the Restaurant. We are all getting to grips with the 10pm curfew and NHS Covid QR code and app, and appreciate everyone’s understanding when we ‘blow out the candles’ at 9.59 each night! The immediate future is uncertain, so while we await news of the latest ‘government guidelines’ we thank everyone for their support throughout these difficult times.  |
