~ Happy New Year 2025 ~
January 11, 2025

As we step into our 41st year, looking forward to all the hopes, dreams, expectations, and no doubt challenges of 2025, I want to briefly reflect on our anniversary year and thank all the people who made it such a success … [read the full news letter, here]
Our wonderful managers, their teams and support staff, our suppliers, the pickers, growers, those who rear and fish, day in and day out, and those who deliver to us. Patrick who designed our 4th book, In Season for 40 Years so beautifully, and to Geordie and Simon for their advice along the way.
To you, all our wonderful customers! From the inquisitive ‘unknowns’ who drop in on us when passing by and then become part of our day, to the locals who support us (on both sides of the road) on a daily or weekly basis and the not-so-locals who visit us whenever they are in town, we are blessed with so many ‘regulars’.
Whether our customers are based in Kensington or Cork, the Bay Area, the Far East, or ‘down under’, if they visit us whenever they are in London, we consider them part of the Clarke’s family and are welcomed through our doors as the familiar faces they have become.

Our 40th Anniversary Dinner and Chez Panisse-inspired Dinner
Our 2 celebratory winter Dinners raised funds for very special charities; in November our Chez Panisse-inspired Dinner enabled us to send money to Alice Waters’ Edible Schoolyard Project and on our Anniversary night (17 December 2024) we supported Chefs in Schools.
To all our lovely customers who celebrated with us on these nights – a huge thank you on behalf of both charities for your generosity.
