Things are certainly hotting up this summer and we are closing in on pulling out all the stops for our 40th Anniversary!

Not only do we have a new book for you to look forward to (out by early November-ish), but also 2 very exciting and celebratory charity dinners are planned for the winter (more on these further into this newsletter).

A beautiful pale purple hessian bag will be gracing the shop later this summer (emblazoned with a big golden ’40’!) and a delightfully sparkling, especially labelled, Anniversary Champagne to add to our range of own label wines is arriving soon.

Open on Mondays …

First up, the GOOD NEWS is that from Monday 9th September we will be open on Monday evenings for dinner. Since the ‘Covid era’ we have been mindful to keep both the dining room and kitchen teams tight from an operational viewpoint, but we feel that we have now built up our strength sufficiently to expand our hours!

So, do book yourselvs in for an early-in-the-week treat – we open at 6pm, and will be ready for your arrival at any time after that!
