Welcome to our lovely new Newsletter which includes an Order Form for all you could possibly need for your Thanksgiving weekend.Â Even if you do not mark this wonderful all-inclusive American celebration, it may give you thought, or jog your memory for the upcoming weeks – and for your Christmas festivities.
Within a few weeks you will notice that the Shop will start to feel smaller and smaller! As Manuel and his team fill the shelves with our fabulous Winter items, from ready to mix stuffing for the Turkey to our new Sally Clarke Red, White and Rose wines, to Cranberry sauce and Onion Marmalade to the BEST Turkish Delight from our friends in Istanbul, there will be something for everyone!
This year, we have also created a stunningly beautiful (even if we say so ourselves) 2020 diary –Â beautifully illustrated throughout by my motherâ€™s botanical paintings. With lots of room on each page for notes and appointments – we are hoping that this journal will be something you may like to add to your list of â€˜stocking-fillersâ€™. NB ~
We now have our new bright green Vouchers available – for a value of your choice.
Of course all the usual â€˜fixed fittingsâ€™ will be available to you in the shop – from Roasted Chicken Pies to Savoury tarts, Grain, vegetable and herb salads, freshly squeezed juices, a vast array of hand shaped breads and vienoisserie from our Bakery, our famous dark chocolate and almond cake, our more-ish chocolate truffles and hazelnut nougat, fabulous cheeses from our friends at Nealâ€™s Yard Dairy and Mons, coffees from Monmouth and the best teas from the Rare Tea Company.
Across the road, the Restaurant still has a few Autumn and Winter openings in the Private Dining Room.Â Comfortably seating any number from 10 to 30, we happily help to plan your Lunch, Dinner, Party or Celebration.Â All events are arranged on a bespoke basis – so let us guide you!Â Â Do remember that we are open all week for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (see below for opening times).
In the meanwhile, we are always on the lookout for wonderful new members of staff – for the Kitchen, Dining Room, Shop or the Bakery – so if you know someone who may be searching for the next exciting stage in their career, please put them in touch!
